Salman Rushdie to speak in Plachta Monday

Author Salman Rushdie will make his long-awaited appearance at 7 p.m. Monday in Warriner Hall's Platcha Auditorium.

Rushdie, the knighted, award-winning author whose work has generated an Islamic fatwa against him, will speak as part of the campus Speaker Series.
