Pell Grants available for summer session

Livonia junior Laura Khalil plans to take advantage of the recently-created summer Pell Grant.

“I probably will take a summer class at Schoolcraft Community College,” Khalil said. “I want to graduate as soon as possible with taking out fewer loans.”

The Federal Pell Grant Program is now available to students for summer classes.
