Noose incident fallout yields to renewed push for diversity

Last year, racial tensions at Central Michigan University nearly bubbled over when several nooses were found hanging in a classroom.

The incident drew national attention to CMU. Advocacy groups and the community at large denounced the act.

Everything from forums on tolerance and diversity to new legislation took place in the incident's wake.
