Michigan hate crime bill partial response to noose incident

A new bill detailing hate crimes with a noose hanging clause will make its way to the state House of Representatives and Senate in upcoming weeks.

If the bill passes, violators could be prosecuted for crimes against sexual orientation and disability, burning a cross and the hanging of nooses.
