Memorial Day parade remembers veterans

John and Tammy Morris watched their daughter Johnny pass with trombone in hand as Dixie, their 90-pound boxer, sat alongside.

It was just one scene from Monday's annual Memorial Day Parade in downtown Mount Pleasant. Johnny marched as a member of the Mount Pleasant High School marching band.
