County recycling facility has moved 2,200 pounds of Styrofoam

Don't throw that Styrofoam cup away just yet.

The Isabella County Recycling Center implemented a new recycling plan in December for polystyrene material.

The center has recycled more than 2,200 pounds of polystyrene foam, commonly known by the brand name, Styrofoam, said Stephanie Carroll, the environmental education specialist at the recycling center.
